1930’s log home surcome powder post beetles, rot, no foundation and owner neglect, unfortunately this structure becomes candidate for recycle. With a new Breathable Faswall Icf home to rise from ashes.

After all useable products were removed and sent to The Rebuilding Center and Restore the structure was hand demolition sorting and pulling nails from usable lumber. Thanks to the many Craig list enterprising individuals almost all of the materials are being reused or recycled in other projects. Logs and tg paneling for game room/bar in Battleground, 2x8 cvg rough cut lumber went from exposed sub floor to building planks to trim and cabinet material for new house, and bricks to many walkways and fireplace repair projects.

Total garbage from demo 1125 lbs of moldy drywall and unrecyclable vinyl floor squares. Here about ½ the pile of rotten and beetle damaged logs that was turned into firewood and mulch.

The begin of the new structure 18x48 footings utilizing 50% fly ash concrete

Faswall blocks start to go up (only 5400 blocks to go)

Speed floor suspended concrete floors for garage and house with radiant heat to be polished as finish floors throughout house.
Walls are done, waiting for trusses and roof

Just completed oak railing to replace 60’s metal railing, the final phase of this whole house remodel is now completed.
